Situated overlooking Dingle Bay midway between Glenbeigh and Cahirciveen, Caitin's Pub is a traditional Old Style Pub that has been run by the Golden family for over one hundred years.

Caitin's is supposed to be one of the first legalised 'Shebeens' in Ireland. Steeped in history and folklore, the pub has been patronised by some of Irelands most famous statesmen, such as Daniel O'Connell and the literary great Brendan Behan. O'Connells visits were legendary. It is known that on his many journeys he stopped here to change horses and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and wholesome food.

Caitin's Pub has evolved over the centuries from being a two-roomed 'Shebeen' to one of the most famous stopping points on the Ring of Kerry. Today it continues to provide you with the best of food, drink and entertainment, all served at this unique Old World setting.

Caitin's Pub which is located beside the impressive old GSWR railway viaduct has among its many attractions a splendid collection of photographic memorabilia, which depicts the local area from the early 1800's.

A visit is a must to Caitin's Pub for:
The finest of drink
The best of Food

Hostel and En-Suite Accommodation

Caitin's Pub is available for parties and gatherings no matter what the occasion. A visit is a must for all wish want to enjoy the finer things in life whether on business or on holiday on your own or as a group.
